Question:

Do members of the Governing Body/Elders REALLY come here? What would be their purpose in doing so? To catch people? Or to find reasons for lawsuits?

Just wondering because everyone keeps mentioning that we are being "watched."

Also, can anyone clarify for me what H20 is,(besides that it was another website like this) and why it is always talked about in the past tense like it has died?

I think he cut & pasted most of it from the Watchtower CD-Rom. He'll probably add a couple of hours to his timesheet this month for that!

I thought the exact same thing when I read that dude's lengthy post The good ol' timesheet!

I remember my parents counted time for the most moronic crap. Including, but not limited to:

Leaving a mag at a laundromat, talking to my teachers at school. Explaining to coworkers why they wouldn't participate in Secret Santa. And my favorite, going through a TOLL booth. When we would visit my relatives in Illinois, my dad had this horrible habit of handing the toll booth attendant a Watchtower and saying, "HERE'S A GIFT FROM WISCONSIN!" with a big geeky smile on his face.

i remembered vaguely about not being able to serve on a jury as a jw.

can someone tell me why we were not allowed to to this?.

" and the guilts are everywhere in this article!

it doesn't take too much intelligence to work out early on what the wts' stance on tattoos is, not that it seems to have much to do with "freedom in christ".

Once I wore lime green nailpolish to a meeting and was immediatley counseled afterwards on how distracting it was. Oh and it was also distracting that my skirt skimmed the knees instead of covering them. I couldn't help but think that maybe his "distraction" would have been prevented if that elder wasn't a perv.

The same elder told me that a dance I did with my best friend at my graduation party had "lesbian undertones." I still don't know what lesbian undertones are...
